| Update August 13, 2009 We had our first meeting as the SAC with our new board members last night and we just wanted to update you on a couple of pertinent items. Minutes will be following shortly but here are two important decisions that were made last night: 1. The deadline to bid for optional State Championships has been extended to October 1st, 2009. Please submit your official bid forms to our State Chairman Pam Zak. 2. The format of level 4 State Championships: For the 2009 State Championships only team awards for level 4 will be given out at the end of each session. For example if the sessions were divided as level 4 6-8 year olds, and 9+ year olds… there would be two State Championship team awards a level 4 6-8 year old team award, and a level 4 9+ team award. The vote was as follows: Proposal 1: Leave the format as it has been in previous years (pull scores from both sessions and have 1 team award) Cora Fonseca Pattie Walkabout Proposal 2: Change the format to award a team award after each session. Kari Schaap-Covington Joe Rapp (Pam Zak) Result: Tie; therefore Pam Zak voted to break the tie. Update August 1, 2009 The SAC election results are in........
